NATO Sec Gen Jens Stoltenberg in a letter addressed to President Gjorge Ivanov notes that the political leaders in Macedonia should focus on implementing the Przino agreement as the framework for sustainable solution to the political crisis. “NATO does not get involved in the internal processes in Macedonia, nor does it take sides. However, we are interested in respecting the political values and principles on which the Alliance rests. The political leaders in Skopje have the responsibility to respect the outcome from the democratic processes and in a short period to contribute to the formation of functional and effective government that will pursue the urgent reforms,” Stoltenberg writes.
