| NDI Poll on Current Situation and Party Ratings |

93 % of citizens in Macedonia experience the current political situation in the state as tense, critical and unstable. As many as 65 % think the state is headed in the wrong direction, the poll carried out by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) suggests. Nearly every third respondent reckons that the most responsible for the crisis are VMRO-DPMNE or President Gjorge Ivanov. For 13 % the problem lies in the platform of the Albanians and nearly 11 % point their finger at SDSM. “Macedonians and the other ethnic groups largely believe that the parties of the Albanians, the platform and SDSM are more responsible for the current political situation as compared to the ethnic Albanians, who find President Ivanov and VMRO-DPMNE as the direct culprits. Solely Albanians locate the guilt in DUI along with VMRO-DPMNE,” the poll reads. (Utrinski Vesnik; Kanal 5; Sitel; Telma; Alfa; MTV1; MIA) |
