VMRO-­DPMNE accused SDSM member of Parliament from Kumanovo Maksim Dimitrievski of assaulting and injuring a 23 year old boy in a fight in a restaurant that happened on Wednesday evening. “Dimitrievski punched a 23 year old boy only because he didn't like the patriotic Macedonian song he ordered. This scandal needs to be cleared out in full. This level of violence on the part of SDSM officials needs to be stopped,” VMRO­DPMNE writes in its press release. According to police sources, the father of the boy reported that his son was attacked in a dispute over the song. The boy allegedly suffered two broken teeth from Dimitrievski’s punches. Dimitrievski said he was the one who was attacked and that attackers carried firearms. He appealed to the MoI to professionally clarify the case. The MoI confirmed the incident but could not confirm the involvement of police officers as claimed by Dimitrievski.
