The Skopje-based Criminal Court has accepted the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPO) indictments in cases "Tariff" and "Trajectory". Case "Tariff" involves seven individuals indicted of abuse of office in a public procurement of software system for Macedonian Power Plants (ELEM). According to the indictment, the suspects enabled a consortium, which eventually won the tender, to qualify for the second stage although it did not provide the proper documentation. The value of the public procurement stands at EUR 4.1 million, and the budget damage is about EUR 450,000. Case "Trajectory" indicts four former government officials of abuse of office in the procedure of selecting a company in the construction of motorway sections Miladinovci-Stip and Kicevo-Ohrid in 2012-2013. As a result, they damaged the budget by at least EUR 155 million, an amount allocated to the contractor.
