Following the veto at the NATO Summit in Bucharest, Athens prepares to veto the possible date for start of admission talks between Macedonia and the EU. This was reported by the Greek To Vima daily, relying on well-informed sources, who reckon that the upcoming proposal by Niemitz will be more favourable for Greece (Northern Macedonia), but Athens will not be content with it as regards its use and the passports. This, according to the daily, will result in a second Greek veto by PM Karamanlis’s government, who is currently facing intra-party problems.
