Serbian Ministry of Agriculture on Solving of Wheat Import Issue
Tuesday, 03 September 2013 09:20

On Monday, Macedonia is annulling the provision to limit the import of wheat and, according to the Serbian authorities, the most important thing is that the problem is solved institutionally, with the help of CEFTA.

“We summoned the CEFTA committee and we got the support from all members. Macedonia was the “bad boy” in this situation and it wasn’t fair that they prolonged the moment for annulment of this measure,” said Danilo Golubovic, state secretary with the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture. The Macedonian government decided to annul the measure last week because it assessed that the market has been stabilised.
