“Brussels awarded Macedonia many positive and few less positive opinions so we are encouraged and consider them as an acknowledgment of our and the efforts of all of those that have been engaged in the reform and modernisation processes,” PM Nikola Gruevski noted. He added that all of the country’s efforts will be focused on spheres that require further improvement. “I am pleased with Brussels’ assessment, which in a way is denying the claims of opposition parties,” Gruevski said, expressing belief that this year’s EC report on Macedonia’s progress towards EU membership would be also positive as the previous one.
