Asked about the name issue, FM Milososki stated he had reiterated Macedonia’s position at Tuesday’s meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Council that the country remained committed to finding a mutually acceptable solution. “Macedonia remains committed with good will and intention to resuming talks in the Macedonian-Greek dialogue aiming at overcoming the bilateral dispute. The sooner this irrational bilateral issue is settled, the better it will be for the two countries and the region,” the FM underlined. In addition, Albanian FM Ilir Meta expressed his hopes for prompt name settlement which would unblock country’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
